Tanalisation

All buildings made from the frame and nail system (excludes playdens and octagonals) are constructed with pressure treated (tanalised) timber throughout. This is the latest generation of wood preservative, the timber is impregnated with ‘Tanalith E’ at high pressure this draws the preservative into the timber protecting it against rot and infestation for up to 30 years, making the building more durable and long lasting. However on arrival the building may require to be dried out due to the pressure impregnation process.
